Is putting blue cheese on a turkey burger defeating the purpose?

Thought I would try to be a little healthier and bought some ground turkey.  Nick complained that there was no way he was going to eat it, but he made it into patties by loading it up with garlic powder, onion powder and worchestire sauce.  Then he added bacon bits!  No, not very healthy.  Then of course, I had to top mine with blue cheese.  It tasted pretty good, but was a little too dry for my taste.  Better start surfing the internet for some recipes that may be a little juicier.

  1. Let me tell you what is good - make two kind of thin burgers, put blue cheese on the top of one and then top that with the other burger to make one stuffed blue cheese burger - really good - you don't have to use a lot of blue cheese. It really isn't all that bad for you as long as you don't over do it.
