Horsefeathers ... inspiring junk for all

There was a great architectural salvage place downtown that moved near my Mother's house.  The hours are limited and I have never been able to make it there.  Saturday I was picking Mom up to take her grocery shopping and saw cars going in, so I thought I would make a quick pit stop.  It was worth the trip!  Can't wait to go back when I have more time and a real camera.  But, here's a few shots of some interesting pieces.  Forgive the bad pictures, my phone is not the best.

  1. I used to live up the street and around the corner from their old location on Connecticut. Used to love wandering around there. I've only purchased two items from them—a door, which fit my old house doorway lie it was the original; and a doorknob, after mine was stolen off my front door!
