The rest of the day's adventures

Started the day with a trip to Immediate Care.  Turns out M&M has a scratched cornea when her friend shot her in the eye with a squirt gun.  Took about an hour and a half, which was better than I thought.

On our quest for letter shaped objects, we hit Buffalo's Outer Harbor and a few other spots along Route 5.  We had a great day together and both took lots of pictures.  Finally saw where Doug's Dive is, but I wanted to check out the Bedrock Eatery for lunch.  Chicken sandwich was great, especially with the slices of bacon to top.  I did eliminate the cheese so saved myself a little cholesterol!

The highlight of the day, though is on the way back I decided to get off on Ridge Road when I saw the sign that said OLV Basilica.  First time I had ever been inside.  What took me so long?  It is magnificent.

  2. (Working backward through your entries, what wonderful photography:)

Not sure if they do it there every year, but I went with the fam to OLV to hear the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus perform Handel's Messiah there last December. The acoustics aren't as perfect as Kleinhans, but the ambience more than made up for it.
